PLANNING LABORATORY: OBERE STADTSPREEcase study 1
In cooperative events with involved persons and stakeholders, the Urban Research and Design Laboratory focussed on the Obere Stadtspree in Berlin. Based on a large-scale map of potentials, the Spree-area was evaluated in focus sections on its spatial and social configuration as well as on its potential for the urban development. The tasks include the development of planning scenarios and design concepts with cooperative stakeholders plus the conception of an in situ exhibition with a following publication. With its contents, the U-Lab weblog contributed to the project work of the U-Lab and invited everyone to discuss them in public.
