Social-spatial study with methods of the 'Aktionsraumforschung' in order to explore the specific characteristics of Obere Stadtspree. Research fields create ecological, economical and social aspects forming the space of interest as well as the stakeholders landscape of the area, involved stakeholders and lobbyists.

Students of the master programs of Urban Design and Architecture (TU Berlin)

Development of a map of potentials as planning instrument of urban design. Based on acknowledged problems and potentials of the Obere Stadtspree, the map of potentials represents strategies and tools for a further development of the entire territory. In focus areas their implementation to spatial configuration will be tested as well as their socio-cultural and economical aspects.
